Ou4, the Squid Nebula, is a very faint bipolar structure in Cepheus, recently discovered by an amateur. It seems linked to the Sh2-129 region, about 2,300 light-years away, and may be a vast outflow driven by a system of hot stars. Its apparent size is remarkable for such a tenuous object.
